Electrical Design Engineer

DEEN Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is a fast-growing engineering services company providing back-office technical support to leading electrical switchboard manufacturers, primarily in the Australian market. Our expertise spans low voltage (LV) switchboard design, estimation, 2D/3D drafting, and CAD automation. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team and support LV switchboard design and estimation work.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements for LV switchboard quotation requests
• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings in compliance with relevant standards such as AS/NZS, IEC, and Australian Service Installation Rules (SIR)
• Design LV switchboards using CAD software in accordance with Australian switchboard standards and SIR requirements
• Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for switchboard designs and prepare quotations
• Revise drawings based on internal reviews and client feedback
• Conduct temperature rise calculations and switchboard assessments
• Prepare switchboard compliance reports in accordance with Australian standards, including AS/NZS 61439

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in CAD software; AutoCAD and BricsCAD are preferred
• Good understanding of switchboard components such as MCCBs, ACBs, RCBOs, and metering
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single line diagrams (SLD), and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Australian standards including AS/NZS 61439 and AS/NZS 3000, as well as Australian SIR requirements
• Exposure to estimation or panel manufacturing processes
• Experience working with international clients, especially Australia
